Quote of the Week

This totally applies to my blog!

"Typos are very important to all written form. It gives the reader something to look for so they aren't distracted by the total lack of content in your writing."

Good conversation on a Sunday morning

Monty: Hey, Ginger. Stand on my back and try to hit the latch.
Ginger: Where would you go if we could open the door right now?
Monty: I'd try to find that racoon again
Ginger: I would chase some bunnies.
Monty: Yeah, that looked like fun.
Ginger: Maybe I'd go across the street and let Cody smell my butt.
Monty: He's a dumb dog. Why does he bark at cars?
Ginger: You're right. Now, Jack is one hot German Shephard.
Monty: You are so shallow.
Shh! She's eavesdropping!

Ginger Vitis (Get it?)

Because they wouldn't let me name her Python. Since we already had a dog named Monty, I thought it would be great to yell "Monty Python" when calling them.

She's been digging!

This camera has a "sports" mode?

We clearly need more practice. This is our first attempt at catching the boys in action.

Arm or bootie?

It's arm!! Of course! I would never post a bootie!

Flower Power

Tomatoes! We have tomatoes!

This pretty purple flower becomes . . .
. . . an eggplant!! Too bad I'm on the only person I know who likes eggplant. This is my first one.
We have a new camera so I decided to try capture how pretty our backyard is looking right now, while everything is in bloom. Which will only last about one more month because it will get extremely hot out here very quickly.

My Day Lillies are gorgeous right now.

An Agapanthas ready to bloom.
My yellow Day Lillies.

This is a Butterfly shrub. It's about 6 feet tall right now.

I have no idea what this is. Kinda looks like a weed, doesn't it? Maybe it's called a Lamb's Ear. Maybe not.
I don't know what this is called (although I bought it) but the flowers are really pretty. This is the first year they've actually bloomed - I suspect the dogs were eating them.
Please don't eat the daisies.
