Samantha and Nick

On Saturday, April 10, we got to spend the entire day with Samantha and Nicholas. We started with a ranger-led hike in Placerita Canyon, where we learned how the indians traded goods and rubbed sage all over their bodies to mask their scent to enable them to sneak up on their prey. We followed this up with lunch and then an animal presentation. I was shocked to see an opposum there - they always seem so vicious.

Then we went to Target, bought some balls, and ran off all the rest of our energy. Brian's friend Seth joined us and we also met up with some pals on the basketball court. All in all, it was a great outdoors day.
